Kao Corporation

Kao has developed an innovative technology for recycling and recovering the resins from its refill pocuhes (refill pouches), which are very popular in Japan. The innovative system allows clean recovery of resin from multilayer packaging for new uses and products.

Municipal take-away reuse system for beverage containers in the city of Aarhus

Reusable

Reusable is a world-first project developed by the city of Aarhus (Denmark). Deployed in an urban environment of 330,000 inhabitants, the project implements a system for the collection, treatment and reuse of polypropylene takeaway beverage containers.

Digital Product Passport (DPP) on PET bottle caps in Kobe City

AMITA Corporation

AMITA Corporation, together with a consortium of partners grouped in the Japan Circular Economy Platform, has deployed in Kobe an initiative to trace the recycling process of PET beverage bottles through new digital technologies, of European origin, in the development of the Digital Product Passport (DPP) for packaging materials.

Project selection

Hispack is selecting the 5 BEST IN CLASS projects that show the best indicators of business, transformation, impact and communication power.

February - MARCH'24

Case development

Hispack visits the projects to document them and obtain everything necessary to elaborate the communication pieces, including an audiovisual, showing the main assets of the project as a business case. The communication campaign starts in April.

MAY'24

BEST IN CLASS showcase event

Hispack organizes a day on May 9 with the protagonists of the projects in which the selected cases are presented. There will also be networking activities.

WHO CAN APPLY?

The BEST IN CLASS program recognizes a select group of projects led by brands and industrial customers that have implemented relevant packaging initiatives transforming their businesses and improving their market position.

In this process of searching for the best projects, we also count on the advice and assistance of the most relevant packaging companies participating in Hispack 2024, as ambassadors of innovation and transformation of the industry.
