The show is putting together a varied program of activities and knowledge spaces for national and international visitors to discover the latest solutions that will shape the future of packaging, processing and logistics.

 


For the second consecutive edition, Hispack will feature the “Unboxing” knowledge space, whose presentations will focus on sustainability as a monographic theme covering the entire packaging life cycle. This transversal space, set up in a preferential area of Hall 2, will be the forum where national professionals from the multiple application sectors where packaging is becoming more and more important will find inspiration to find more efficient and profitable solutions to the challenges of the industry: materials, designs, strategies, innovation … all applied to final industries.

The industrial sector is one of the key economic drivers of the country, a leader in digitization and technological development, which addresses with high capacity and impact global challenges such as the challenge of sustainability. A sector in constant change and evolution that is possible thanks to engineers. They are the protagonists of Engineers Day.

Throughout the second day of celebration, on May 8, we will offer a full agenda of content to share experiences and discover solutions to address the challenges faced by engineers around sustainable development in the packaging sector. The aim is to attract technical engineering profiles linked to the areas of production, operations and R & D of different industrial sectors users of packaging.

One of the novelties of this edition is that this program has been created to promote the innovation of Spanish companies that manufacture equipment, technology, materials and packaging. Selected exhibitors will have the opportunity to explain to international buyers and visitors the success story that, as a Spanish manufacturer of machinery or packaging solutions, you are already offering to the market. The International Business Center, located in a preferential space in Hall 3, will be the nerve center of all this activity and, in turn, the focal point for all international visitors to the show.

The BEST IN CLASS program recognizes a select group of projects led by brands and industrial customers that have implemented relevant packaging initiatives transforming their businesses and improving their market position.

The selected projects will be presented on May 9 at the International Business Center.

This is one of the novelties of Hispack24’s International Program and makes the show one of the benchmarks in European packaging sustainability for the Japanese ecosystem. Japan Day is the result of a collaboration between Hispack and the Japan Packaging Institute (JPI) and will be held on May 9, the third day of the show, at the International Business Center. This program, which connects market trends and packaging needs between the Spanish and Japanese markets, encourages global conversation about solutions to current challenges with a view that opens up opportunities for industrial cooperation between supply and demand companies from both countries. Among the many activities being organized, the visit to Hispack of a Japanese delegation is contemplated, which already has the confirmation of two keynote speakers highlighted in the program: Takehiro Kaneko, Manager Transport of the Packaging Division Japan Packaging Institute (JPI) and Yoshinori Kumasaka, Director Sustainability Development Acceleration Departmernt SHISEIDO, Co., LTD Global Innovation Cente. The participation of both speakers will bring to the audience the main transformations of the packaging ecosystem in Japan and will serve as a presentation of some of the key projects in sustainability and packaging innovation of leading companies in Japan”.

Another outstanding initiative of this year’s edition will be the themed itineraries available to visitors to showcase and explain first-hand the innovations presented by exhibitors at the fair. The interested public will be able to register for the guided tours within the established schedules or take the route on their own using a map that will identify the essential stops.

On the second day of the event, May 8, the Packaging Fest will be held, an industry networking event that is expected to bring together more than a thousand people. Previously, the Liderpack 2023 Awards, the most important awards for Packaging and PLV in Spain, will be presented. As a prelude to the Liderpack Awards, there will be an act of recognition to several companies and individuals who, throughout their careers, have left their mark on the sector.
