Sustainability, the common denominator of the 47 packaging and the 15 POS works awarded
31 companies share the 2025 Liderpack Packaging and POS Awards
Bottles that tell Mediterranean stories, sneaker boxes that are transformed into decorative lamps, systems that reward the consumer for returning chicken trays to the store to be reused or a POS container for the recycling of cosmetic packaging. The Liderpack Awards, awarded by AESPackaging of the Graphispack Association and the Hispack show of Fira de Barcelona, have recognized this year 31 companies for their innovative and sustainable proposals in packaging and Point-of-Sale Advertising (POS). Among them, the big winners have been Miralles Cartonajes with five awards, followed by Flexomed, DS Smith Tecnicarton, Rajapack, Smurfit Westrock España, S.A, dgé-plv and Adaequo, with four.
In this edition, the jury has awarded a total of 47 Liderpack Awards in Packaging, 15 Liderpack Awards -Popai Spain Award in the specialty of Advertising at the Point of Sale (POS) and 18 Liderpack Awards in the category of Young Design -specific for students-, consolidating these awards as the national benchmark in creativity, functionality and environmental commitment for the packaging industry.
Among the winning works are minimalist and resistant cardboard clips that group bottles that replace plastic film; a flexible isothermal reusable and refillable container that allows the drink to be worn on the chest at festivals and large events; ultra-light sleeves made from recycled material; compostable packaging for sandwiches; logistics packaging for the transport of automotive parts, extractor hoods, exercise bikes or funeral urns; as well as premium cases for olive oils, invisible orthodontic treatments or sneakers.
The award-winning proposals stand out for their focus on sustainability and functionality, with recyclable mono-material solutions that introduce the concept of circular economy. The jury particularly valued projects that reduce the use of material, optimise logistics and facilitate recycling, as well as creative designs that elevate the brand experience, from sensory cases to reusable and ergonomic packaging, reflecting an evolution of packaging towards more responsible, practical and emotional models.
