Industrial Engineer (UPC) and MBA (ESADE), during a first professional stage participating in a wide range of installation and automation projects in different engineering companies. Since 2007 at Mercabarna, S.A., currently designing strategies and projects that bring sustainability, growth and innovation to the company and the sector.

The future of the agri-food sector, driven by social, environmental and demand changes, involves implementing 360 sustainability strategies, and Mercabarna's fundamental objective is to facilitate and promote this vision in the sector. Mercabarna's strategy works on the different areas of sustainability and setting up projects in different aspects such as energy and the circular economy. The explanation will include the main lines of work and projects developed in the Food Unit of Barcelona.
