Ecotherm Box: The eco-design of sustainable packaging for the shipment of high-end frozen fish

The Ecotherm Box project is working to develop an innovative packaging system based on recyclable cardboard at Saica Pack Amposta's operational plant, intended to replace the current expanded polystyrene plastic boxes of high-end tuna suppliers, Balfegó. With the experience of the consultancy firm Inèdit, a new box will be created with an eco-design that will meet the strict requirements of gourmet fish logistics, with a budget of over €74,000.
