Chemical recycling of plastics: challenges and opportunities

Chemical Recycling is postulated as a strategic technology to increase the circularity of plastics and achieve the objectives set by the European Union. This session will present the main chemical recycling technologies and processes and what opportunities they can offer to the packaging sector. The main challenges to be overcome in order to make this strategy a reality in the near future will also be discussed.
